Crafted by Tosaryu, a Japanese woodworking studio based in Kochi Prefecture, this stool showcases five decades of sustainable craftsmanship and expertise. Made from hand-selected Shimanto cypress—naturally rich in oils that provide anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties—each piece is air-dried for 3–6 months without chemical treatments. The ridged, slip-resistant surface ensures safe drainage in wet environments, making it ideal for daily bath and shower use. By sourcing locally and repurposing wood waste, Tosaryu is committed to supporting responsible forestry and minimizing carbon footprint.
