For over 175 years, Omori Warosoku has perfected the craft of Japanese candle-making in Uchiko, a small town in Ehime Prefecture. These candles are 100% plant-based, with sumac wax sourced from haze plants and the wick made from washi paper and igusa grass. Unlike paraffin candles, they produce minimal soot and wax drips, ensuring a slow and clean burn to the end.
