Description
Description
Designed by Makoto Koizumi and produced at Kaico’s Tokyo workshop in Sumida Ward, this saucepan combines refined elegance with everyday utility in your kitchen. It presents a harmonious balance of smooth, silk-white porcelain enamel and the warm, tactile touch of a natural maple wood handle and lid knob. Forged from high-grade steel in a durable glass glaze, the saucepan offers superior thermal conductivity and heat retention, ensuring your dishes heat evenly and quickly. Because porcelain enamel is entirely non-reactive and resistant to acids and alkalis, it will never absorb odors or alter the pure flavor of your ingredients—making it the ideal vessel for simmering soups, reducing fruit jams, reheating gravies, or boiling quick noodles. With a generous 2.2L (approx. 74 fl oz) full-water capacity, this versatile pan is ideally sized for daily family meals and single-pot creations alike. Suitable for use on direct gas flames as well as 100V/200V IH induction cooktops, the Kaico saucepan transitions seamlessly from cooktop to tabletop, bringing a clean, minimalist Japanese aesthetic to any kitchen layout.
