Designed by Tortoise founder Takuhiro Shinomoto in Venice, CA and handcrafted in the historic ceramics town of Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, Hasami Porcelain is a tableware collection that embodies modern minimalism with purposeful functionality. Each piece is engineered with clean lines and proportions that stack and nest seamlessly, maximizing storage to keep your space organized and accessible. The fully modular system gives you complete flexibility to build your collection piece by piece, mix and match freely, and adapt as your needs change. Made from a signature composition of crushed Amakusa stone, this plate is colored with pigments, while its edges remain unglazed. Its clever dual-function design lets you use it as a lid for matching Hasami Porcelain mugs and bowls, making it a versatile essential that keeps your kitchen elegant and streamlined.
